MFO NOW OFFERING WEEKEND LANGUAGE AND HERITAGE SCHOOL
Manitoba Fellowship Organization (MFO) is playing an important supportive role in the education of the next generation. Conscious of our responsibility to help raise the next generation as idealistic individuals, the young and dedicated teachers of MFO is offering a very wide range of educational programs. Our mission is to build a strong community by helping parents raise their children for a brighter future. The key to building a better future is a high quality education in math, science, social sciences and also in universal moral values.
With this purpose in mind, MFO offers weekend language and heritages school programs to help our children;. These classes teach students Turkish language, culture, and moral values. In addition, MFO motivates and prepares our children for a better future with guidance and counseling services.
Saturdays from 10:30 am -1:00 pm TRIP TO TURKEY Manitoba Fellowship Organization will organize dialogue trips to Turkey as yet another means of building bridges and strengthening friendships between the Muslim world and the West during a year with 5-10 people in each group. TURKEY is a land of divine love. It is the land where diverse faiths and cultures have lived in peace for millennia. Though hailing from different religious backgrounds, we will find common ground through our travels in which we will share the same dining table. Winnipegers will be presented with the opportunity to network with new, and God willing, lifelong friends as a way of strengthening even further our commitment to a global ethic of dialogue and mutual understanding. ”Bridge between Civilizations: Trip to Turkey” will be organized next summer and spring. We hope that our distinguished guests will enjoy the historical, cultural and natural treasures of Turkey, a living example of the harmony of different faiths for centuries. Istanbul, Konya, Antalya-Urfa, Izmir, Bursa-Edirne will be visited during this trip. These are important cities that reflect the cultural diversity of civilizations that once existed on this land and contributed significantly to today’s establishments.
